Sojourn Provides services such as:
Shelter: Emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence. Community referrals and advocacy.
Hotline: Confidential, 24-hour hotline for emergencies and support.
Children's Program: Individual counseling and educational group services focusing on domestic violence, safety-planning and safe self-expression.
Parenting Skills: Increasing mothers' positive parenting skills and helping them understand the effects of domestic violence on their children.
Court Advocacy: Avocacy, information and support to the victims of domestic
violence throughout both civil and criminal court proceedings, including orders of protection and community referrals and advocacy for clients.
Sojourn Advocate For Emergency Response (SAFER): On-call advocate who responds directly to a secured scene of domestic battery. Offering support and necessary transportation.
Off-Site Counseling: Individual and group counseling services for adult and child victims of domestic violence as well as community referrals and advocacy for non-residential clients.
